Informational Meetings with Sister Kathleen Power
We here at Sacred Heart Parish are grateful to Sister Kathleen Power, who spent an informational meeting and three subsequent discernment meetings with members of our parish and nearby parishes. Because of her dedication we added 7 new members to the Associates of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Saint Augustine.
Dave Montgomery, Geeta Hyjek, Carol Jones, Ruby Jones, Janet Tinoco, Susann Engel and David Miner join the already formed group of Lay Associates from Central Florida. We had our first meeting with the rest of the Associates from Central Florida on Sunday, June 12, 1:30PM to 4:30PM, at which time, Dave Miner made his commitment and the rest of us re-committed ourselves to being Lay Associates. It was a wonderful experience for all who attended. We were especially grateful to have the Mother Superior, Sister Jane Stoecker with us for this occasion.
Sister Kathleen will once again have an informational evening and three discernment meetings to hopefully add to our numbers. Please watch the bulletin for more information to come.

Vacation Bible School
This year’s Vacation Bible School was a blast! Children from ages 3 to 11 who joined VBS prayed, sang together, played barnyard games, made crafts, and learned about Jesus. This year’s theme ” Roundup Barnyard” allowed the children to “round up with Jesus’ and learned that He is our Shepherd.
We would like to thank all our volunteers who helped make this year’s Bible School successful. We would also like to thank those who generously donated snacks for the children. God bless you! See you all next year!
