Saturday June 9th was a joyous day in the life of Sacred Heart, St. Gerard and the Bartos family. We celebrated Lou’s ordination to the order of Deacons at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary Queen of the Universe. Parishioners enjoyed fellowship and dinner with Lou and Kathy that evening in celebration of his ordination.

Members of St. Vincent de Paul will be “Begging at the Door” after all Masses
at Sacred Heart and St. Gerard’s on  JUNE 23-24,  2018. Donations help our
neighbors in S.E. Volusia County. Your continued generosity is
gratefully appreciated.

Just a reminder that JMJ  will have our closing party on Wednesday, May 30th at 3pm in the social hall.

Our JMJ disciples were excited to be able to present the Legion of Mary with a beautiful table runner depicting  the mysteries of the Rosary. Our JMJ Disciples worked hard to make it a beautiful keepsake. It truly was a group effort. Thank you to the Legion of Mary for surprising us with pizzas, we really enjoyed them.

As we close another successful year for JMJ, we invite young people between grade 3 and  8 to join us next year.
