ST. GERARD MISSION -LAST SATURDAY VIGIL MASS

Saturday, April 6 will be the last Vigil Mass offered at St. Gerard until further notice.

Thank you to all parishioners who attended in support of  the St. Gerard Vigil Mass for the past 4 months.
Thank you to Fr. Aldrin, Fr. Charlie and Fr. John for travelling to share  Christ with the Edgewater/Oak Hill community on Saturday afternoons.
Thank you to all the ministers—Lectors, Sacristans, Altar Servers, Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers and Music Ministers for offering yourselves for the smooth operation and success of each and every Mass.
 

FRIDAY Fish Fry & Stations of the Cross

Fish Fry Friday’s during Lent. Come meet with friends, family and parishioners and share a Knight’s of Columbus fish fry meal with all the fixins’ between 4 PM and 7 PM prior to attending the Stations of The Cross at the church which starts at 7 PM.

Michael S. Fetcho of New Smyrna Beach, Florida went to be with the Lord suddenly on December 20, 2023.  He was 58 years old.
Michael is survived by and will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife, Rebecca, and son, Joseph Fetcho.   He is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Satterfield, several nephews, and nieces – Jim, Tara, Charlotte, Noah and Katie Fetcho, Jessica, Adam, Michaela and Maya Satterfield and Matthew Jones.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Fetcho of Wayne, NJ and three brothers, Robert, James, Daniel and nephew, Richard.
A Catholic funeral mass to honor Michael will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 1pm at Sacred Heart Church at 998 Father Donlon Drive New Smyrna Beach, Florida.  A reception will follow in the Sacred Heart Reception Hall.
There is a bridge of memories from earth to Heaven above…It keeps our dear ones near us.  It’s the bridge that we call love. We will always love you and carry your memory in our hearts.
