Traveling Mother of Divine Mercy Prayer Group

The Traveling Mother of Divine Mercy Prayer Group led by its Spiritual Director, Fr. Aldrin Nunes, visited the home of parishioners Rudy & Jane Van De Graffe. A statue of the Blessed Virgin was brought to their home and will remain there for a while. The Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet were prayed, and the home was Enthroned to the Divine Mercy. A Divine Mercy image was left for the family to keep. Their children & grandchildren traveled from as far as Hawaii to attend this special prayer devotion and to celebrate Father’s Day.
If you would like a Traveling Mother of Divine Mercy Prayer Group visitation at your home, please contact Esper Radosta at 386-848-1787.

Bishop Noonan – Pray for the people of the city of Orlando

All life is sacred as each one of us is made in the image and likeness of God. We cherish each person as a child of God.

We pray for victims of violence and acts of terror…for their families and friends…and all those affected by such acts against God’s love.

We pray for the people of the city of Orlando that God’s mercy and love will be upon us as we seek healing and consolation.

Every time we look at the Cross, we see how God has forgiven us in Christ – with a love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things; love never fails.

We dry the tears of those who weep and mourn as gently as Veronica wiped the Lord’s bleeding face on the Via Dolorosa.

May the Peace of Christ dwell within our heart.

Bishop John Noonan, Diocese of Orlando

The Vigil to Dry Tears at St. James Cathedral

Fr. Kevin McDonald and Fr.  Aldrin Nunes together with Maria Bilodeau, Sylvia McCormick,
Zena Szhimizzi, George Seney, and Mac McCormick joined hundreds of parishioners and leaders from different faith groups to remember the lives of the victims of the Orlando
shooting . Bishop John Noonan led the vigil at St. James Cathedral, on June 13.  We pray for the people of the city of Orlando that God’s mercy and love will be upon us as we seek healing and consolation. Priests, deacons and counselors from the Diocese of Orlando and Catholic Charities of Central Florida are serving at the Aid Center established by the City of Orlando. They are on site helping victims and families on the front lines of this tragedy.

Legion of Mary visit the Andre Family

The Legion of Mary was invited to the home of the Andre family for the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. By Enthroning Jesus, you make Him the Centre and Head of your family.

The Enthronement of the Immaculate Heart of Mary reminds us of the precious Gift that Jesus has given you. The gift of His own mother to be your mother as well.
What a beautiful ceremony that was held on Mother’s Day. May many blessings come to the Andre family.

Young Women’s Retreat

This past weekend was very positive for all! All 43 girls that attended the retreat were wonderful and so kind. The CORE Team members who were from the Catholic Ministry from UCF who took care of us this past weekend, were all so friendly and sweet. The talks that the CORE Team gave were all touching and always gave a special message. The guest speakers that came were wonderful to talk to and to see what kind of calling God has for us whether is towards the married life or towards vocations.  This weekend is something all will cherish and be thankful for ! Both Theresa Palmer and Maria Connell were happy that they accepted  Trinity Swanson’s invitation for this weekend , they say that they will all go again  to all future weekends, the next is already scheduled for May 2017
Thanks for your prayers and Palanca’s and please continue to pray for us.
